A combination of two historic structures
The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations is made up of the Mahmud Paşa Bedesteni and Kurşunlu Han buildings.
Kurşunlu Han's second function
The caravanserai building today also serves as the museum's administrative building.
Visitor information
The museum is located in Kale neighborhood (Atpazarı), Altındağ district. Its proximity to Ankara Castle makes it practical for visitors to see both stops on the same day.
A note on confusion
Kurşunlu Han shares its name with a different structure in Karaköy, Istanbul; it should be remembered that the Kurşunlu Han in Ankara is part of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations complex.
