Tulumtaş Cave in Gölbaşı is an impressive natural heritage site discovered in 1992 during a quarry blasting operation. The cave extends for a total length of 549 meters and features stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and flowstone formations. The temperature inside remains steady at around 10–11 °C throughout the year. With no natural entrance, this “fossil cave” offers a surprising underground route for those curious about Ankara’s hidden natural wonders.
