History
Gordion is an ancient city known as the capital of the Phrygian Kingdom. Also believed to have been the capital of the legendary King Midas, it is one of Anatolia's most important Iron Age settlements.

Gordion was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023.
